JDV Designs Newsletter #1

Hello everyone

In this newsletter, I will be writing about topics I have been posting about all week. I want to combine my posts so they will be easier to read. Then I will explain what I mean in some of my posts to understand what I'm talking about.

Why did I start writing as a one-person business?

Well I saw a Youtube video in my recommended feed called One Person Business

This video gave me many ideas on how to do this. I didn't know it was possible. I binged watched most of his video's to learn more about this topic. I started back in December of 2022 and took a break until March 2023. Due to burnout and stress.

Now I have tried almost every idea to make a living online. I watched many videos and read lots of blogs. This video from Dan Koe made lots of sense to me and didn't sound like a scam.

I always wanted to improve my writing skills and help people. I have been creating content since 2008. My YouTube has over 520+ subscribers and 400+ videos. I went to school for graphic design, marketing, and coding. Everything I created was by myself with no help from anyone. Just lots of practice and research.

The creator economy takes time to build but once you build it your creations will grow. I also follow Will Prowse. His videos and how he makes money are very interesting. Will Prowse has created many books and video's on different topics and is doing really well financially. He did struggle for over 10 years for health reasons and being homeless. His story and videos inspired me to create my stuff.

My goal is to help people with what I had to go through and write about many important topics. I'm still new to this but I see it working well. I will create at least 1 or 2 newsletters a week.
